Doelling, Kermit A. age 79, of Maryville IL, formerly of Johannisburg, IL, departed this life on June 27th, 2024 at Memorial East Hospital in Shiloh, IL. Born in St. Louis, MO on July 11th, 1944, the son of George F. & Viola E. (nee Steinkamp) Doelling, he was baptized and confirmed at St. John's United Church of Christ in Johannisburg, IL. He was united in marriage to Barbara J. (nee Morgan) on April 11th, 1970 at St. John's UCC. He was a 1962 graduate of Okawville Community High School and graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 1966 where he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. A lifelong member of St. John's UCC, he held various offices on the Church Council over the years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, was a member of the Venedy Sportsmen's Club and the Elkhorn Hunting & Fishing Club, and enjoyed spending time on the lake at their second home on Lake Cumberland in Jamestown, KY.
