Paul Edward GeisenSt. Louis, MO - Paul Edward Geisen, 76, died at 11:17 a.m. Monday, March 17, 2025 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Born September 24, 1948 in Alton, he was the son of Joseph Edward and Violetta (Wood) Geisen. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from the automotive industry. Surviving are children, Joseph Geisen (Gina) of Alton, Shawna Zeilman (Mark) of Dittmer, MO, and Greg Geisen (Kristal) of Dittmer, MO; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, Michael Geisen of Alton; and two sisters, Catherine Tanner of Texas and Marilyn Elick of Brighton. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Geisen; a sister, Rosemary Niemeyer; and a grandson, Alex Geisen.Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, March 24, 2025 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alton. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Alton
