Pauline Dale, 97, passed away Thursday March 20, 2025 at home with her family. She was born April 9, 1927 to George W. and Lula A. (Harris) Cox. She married Charles H. Dale In May of 1944; he preceded her in death July 26, 2001. Pauline was family oriented; she was an avid reader and enjoyed puzzles and word searches, etc. She was a true #1 Cardinal Fan even if they were losing.
She is survived by her son, Dennis C. Dale and his fiancé Elizabeth Stringfellow of Cottage Hills; daughter, Dickye L. (Gordon) Roberts of Alton; three grandchildren, Charlene (Todd) Montgomery, Natalie (Michael) Lewis and Cody (Karissa) Dale; great grandchildren, Brittany (Damon) Melton, Allison Lewis, Kristi Pruitt and Craig (Lauren) Montgomery and great great grandchildren, McKenzie, Emma, Addison, Kayson and Colton; sister, Doris Collins of Jacksonville; numerous nieces and nephews including special angels, Charlotte Jordan and Amanda Dawdy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; daughter, Lezl
