Reising, 69, passed away peacefully just after midnight on March 16, 2025.Steve is survived by his beloved wife, Emily Reising, and his siblings: Gene Reising of Portland, OR; Suzanne Reising of Bartlett, TN; Sharon Brown of Hanna City, IL; Bryan Reising of Beaumont, TX; and Doug Reising of Glen Carbon, IL.Steve grew up on the family farm in Metamora, IL, and graduated from Metamora Township High School in 1973. After spending a few years in Illinois, he moved to Tampa, FL, where he worked as the maintenance supervisor for a large mobile home park. Following his retirement, he returned to Illinois to be closer to family.In his later years, Steve faced Parkinson's disease with remarkable grace and resilience. Despite the challenges, he rarely complained.
